Browser Feature Detector
Runs real checks for common web platform features in the browser you're using right now — not a hypothetical lookup for some other browser.
About this tool
Every row is a live test run in this page, in the browser you're using now, rather than a general compatibility table for “Chrome” or “Safari”. Features are grouped into storage, networking, JavaScript APIs, graphics, CSS and device features, from long-standing ones such as localStorage to newer ones such as container queries, View Transitions, the Popover API and WebGPU. Storage is tested by actually writing a value, because private browsing and strict privacy settings can block it even when the API exists; WebGL and WebP are tested by really creating a context or an image.
CSS features are checked with CSS.supports(). A tick means the feature is available, not that permission has been granted: geolocation and notifications still ask the visitor first. Open this page in other browsers and devices to compare, and use the same feature-detection approach in your own code rather than guessing from the browser's name.
