CSS File Splitter
Split one large stylesheet into several smaller files, either in order (keeping the cascade intact) or grouped by selector type.
About this tool
Split into N roughly equal files cuts your stylesheet into consecutive runs of rules: part 1 holds the first rules, part 2 the next, and so on. Load the parts in order and the cascade behaves exactly as before. No rule is ever cut in half, and @charset or @import lines stay at the top of part 1.
Group by selector type sorts rules into imports.css, ids.css (selectors containing #), classes.css (a . but no #), elements.css (plain element selectors such as body or p a), at-rules.css (@media, @keyframes, @font-face and so on) and other.css (for example attribute-only selectors). It's useful for seeing how a stylesheet is organised, but it changes the order of rules, so when two rules of equal specificity set the same property a different one may win. Check the result before using it in production.
Blocks such as @media { ... } are kept whole rather than having their inner rules split out. Comments and quoted strings are handled correctly, so a } inside content: "}" won't break a rule apart. The CSS File Joiner does the reverse.
