About this tool
Structured data in a <script type="application/ld+json"> tag tells search engines exactly what a page is about, which can earn rich results such as product prices, breadcrumb trails and article details. Pick a schema.org type, fill in the fields, and the JSON-LD updates as you type, ready to paste anywhere in your page. Empty optional fields are left out rather than output as blank values, and any < in your text is safely escaped so it can't break the script tag.
Common mistakes that stop rich results are fixed or flagged as you go: a price typed as “£1,079.99” becomes 1079.99, and you're warned about a currency that isn't a three-letter code, a missing headline or name, or relative URLs. When you're done, check the page with Google's Rich Results Test, and remember the markup must match what visitors can actually see on the page.
