HTML Table Generator
Type into a grid, or paste cells from a spreadsheet, and get clean, accessible HTML table markup as you go.
About this tool
Set the number of rows and columns (up to 20 of each) and type into the grid, or paste a block of cells copied from Excel, Google Sheets or a CSV file and the grid fills itself. The HTML updates as you type, and anything you type is escaped so characters such as & and < come out as valid HTML.
The markup follows accessibility good practice: a header row goes in <thead> with <th scope="col"> cells, an optional first-column header uses <th scope="row">, and a <caption> tells screen-reader users what the table is about before they hear the data. The optional styling uses a small stylesheet rather than the old border attribute, which is no longer valid HTML.
