Shrink HTML by removing comments and extra whitespace.
About this tool
This is a conservative minifier, not a full HTML parser. It strips <!-- comments --> (keeping old Internet Explorer conditional comments), collapses runs of whitespace in text down to a single space, and removes whitespace between block-level tags such as </div> and <p>, where it can never be seen. Spaces between inline elements, like the one in <b>bold</b> <i>italic</i>, are kept, because removing them would join the words together.
Extra spaces inside tags are tidied, but attribute values (so class="a b" keeps its spacing exactly) are never changed. The contents of <pre> and <textarea> are copied byte-for-byte, and inline <script> and <style> blocks are only touched if you tick the option, in which case they go through the same safe minifiers as the JavaScript and CSS tools.
