About this tool
Men’s tops are sized by chest measurement: UK and US sizes are the chest in inches and European sizes add 10, so a 40-inch chest is a UK 40, an EU 50 and usually a medium. Women’s tops are generally sold by dress size, so a medium covers UK 12 to 14, US 8 to 10 and EU 40 to 42.
Letter sizes aren’t standardised, and slim, regular and relaxed fits from the same brand can differ by a size. Treat these as typical high-street ranges and check the brand’s chart when you can.
