Band sizes convert by formula: UK and US bands are in inches, European bands in centimetres (a UK 34 is an EU 75), French and Spanish bands add 15 to that (90), and Australian bands take 22 off the UK size (12). Cup letters step up an inch at a time everywhere, but the names part company after D: the UK uses DD, E, F, FF, G, GG; most US brands use DD, DDD, G, H; and Europe goes straight through the alphabet, so a UK 34F is an EU 75G.
Sister sizes hold the same cup volume on a different band: if a band feels too tight, go up a band and down a cup. The measurement guide uses the modern UK method and is a starting point, not a substitute for a fitting.
