Working Pad

About this tool

Everything you type is saved to this browser's own storage a moment after you stop typing — nothing is ever sent anywhere, and there is deliberately no Export or Download button, so this pad can't become a place where something important only ever lives in one place. Treat it as a genuine scratchpad: jot something down, use it, and clear it. To wipe it, either clear this site's data in your browser, or press Delete All, which asks you to confirm twice before anything is actually removed.

Why can't I export what I write here?

By design. Working Pad is meant for short-lived working notes, not as a place to keep anything you'd need to get back out again — for that, see Offline Notepad or Markdown Editor, which both support import and export.

Will this still be here if I close the tab or restart my browser?

Yes, until you clear it yourself (or clear your browser's site data) — it persists between visits, it just can't be exported.
