TOTP/2FA Code Generator
Generate the current 6-digit code from a Base32 secret — the same standard (RFC 6238) authenticator apps use.
About this tool
Enter the Base32 secret a site gave you when you set up two-factor authentication (spaces and dashes are fine), or paste the whole otpauth://totp/… link from its QR code, in which case the algorithm, number of digits and period are picked up automatically. The code matches what Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and other apps show, and the next code is shown too, handy if the current one is about to run out.
Everything happens in your browser using your device's own clock, and your secret is never sent anywhere. TOTP depends on the time, so if codes are rejected, check your clock is set automatically. Typing errors are caught: Base32 never uses 0, 1 or 8, so those usually mean a mistyped O, I or B. Treat a 2FA secret like a password: anyone who has it can generate your codes.
