About this tool
Renders your text using the real FIGlet (.flf) font format — the same format behind the classic Unix figlet command and sites like patorjk.com's text-art generator — so the banners come out exactly as that font's author designed them, overlapping ("smushed") characters and all, not a single hand-rolled block font with a few effects bolted on. All 550 fonts are sourced from the pyfiglet project (MIT licensed) and fetched one at a time as you pick them, so the page stays light. Type your text, search for a font by name, and optionally swap in a solid fill character in place of the font's own symbols.
