About this tool
Recognises around 250 common text-speak abbreviations and expands them in place, working out greetings, questions, sign-offs and kisses from punctuation and word position. It's built from a fixed list rather than genuine language understanding, so unusual slang, regional variations, or words it doesn't recognise will be left untranslated and flagged rather than guessed at.
