Sticky Notes
Sticky notes for quick snippets: a phone number, a reminder, a thought. Tap + and start typing, pick a colour, and they’re saved in this browser, with an optional passphrase to encrypt them.
About this tool
Sticky notes are for the small things you want to hand: a parcel tracking number, a door code, tomorrow’s shopping. Each note holds up to 280 characters and can be colour-coded; search finds any note by its text. Notes are saved automatically in this browser, so they’re still here next time, but only on this device.
If other people use this computer, protect your notes with a passphrase. They’re then encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being saved, and you’ll need the passphrase to see them again; they lock after ten minutes without activity. There’s no reset if you forget it, so choose one you’ll remember. You can remove the passphrase at any time while unlocked.
