About this tool
Up to 200 moments across the clip are analysed with a frequency transform, and the energy in each is added up in five standard mixing bands: sub and bass, low mids, mids, high mids and treble. Each band is shown in decibels relative to the strongest one, along with its share of the total energy.
Use it to compare the tonal balance of your mix with a reference track you like. Most music has far more energy in the bass than the treble, so a shape that falls from left to right is normal; a band that sticks out by several decibels compared with your reference is worth a listen.
