Center-Channel Vocal Reducer
The classic karaoke trick: subtracts the right channel from the left, which cancels out anything panned dead-centre in the stereo mix — usually the lead vocal — while leaving panned instruments more intact.

About this tool
This only works on genuinely stereo files, and only reduces (never fully removes) whatever is mixed dead-centre and identically into both channels — often the lead vocal, but also anything else mixed that way, like a kick drum or bass. Anything panned left or right, like most guitars or backing instruments, is left largely intact, and often ends up sounding noticeably different (sometimes thinner, with an odd stereo width) rather than simply "instrumental". A mono file has nothing to cancel against and won't be meaningfully affected.
