Hand Luggage Liquids Checker
List your toiletries and check them against the hand luggage liquids rule at your airport: 100 ml containers in a one-litre bag, or up to 2 litres where new scanners are in use.
About this tool
Each airport sets its own liquids rule depending on its security scanners. Under the 100 ml rule every container must be 100 ml or less, all in one clear resealable bag of about a litre; it’s the size printed on the container that counts, so a half-empty 200 ml bottle isn’t allowed. Airports with the newer CT scanners allow containers of up to 2 litres, left in your bag.
Pack to the strictest airport on your trip, including the one you fly home from and any you change planes at. Medicines and baby milk or food are allowed in larger amounts, but may be checked. The airport list reflects rules published by mid-2026; check your airport’s website before you fly. Your list is saved on this device.
