About this tool

Powerball draws 5 white ball numbers from a pool of 69 and a separate red Powerball number from a pool of 26. Since 21 July 2026, Powerball lines (£4 each) can be bought in the UK through the National Lottery as well as in most US states, all playing for the same shared jackpot, with draws on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at about 4am UK time. Every one of the 292,201,338 possible jackpot combinations is equally likely, so there's no way to shorten the odds — this just saves you picking numbers by hand.

Can the same number be both a white ball and the Powerball?
Yes. The white balls and the red Powerball are drawn from two separate pools (1–69 and 1–26), so the same numeral can appear in both parts of a line.
Are the odds different for UK players?
The jackpot odds are the same everywhere, but UK players have an extra fixed £8 prize for matching two main numbers, which makes the odds of winning something about 1 in 13.2 in the UK compared with 1 in 24.9 in the US. Matching all five main numbers without the Powerball wins a fixed £1 million in the UK.
