About this tool
Each rotate or flip applies to the image's current state, so you can stack several operations — for example rotate right then flip vertical — and they compound in order. A 90° or 270° rotation swaps the image's width and height, which is handled automatically. Reset returns to the original upload at any point. Everything happens locally on the canvas; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Right-angle rotations and flips move pixels without any blurring, so saving as PNG keeps the image exactly. For photos, saving as JPEG keeps the file small; it’s re-compressed once, at the quality you choose. Photos are shown the right way up first, following the orientation your phone or camera recorded, so what you see is what you’ll save.
