Map Preview
See any place, set of coordinates or UK postcode on a map, open it in your favourite map app, or copy the code to embed the map on your own website.
About this tool
Enter coordinates in any format, a town or a UK postcode and choose how far to zoom in. Nothing is loaded until you press Show on a map, which loads a map from OpenStreetMap, the free, community-made world map. The links open the same spot in OpenStreetMap, Google Maps or Apple Maps, which is the quickest way to send a precise location to your phone or check it in Street View.
The embed code puts the same map on your own web page, with the credit OpenStreetMap asks for. It works on most website builders that allow HTML; set the width to 100% to fill the column. Zoom 11 to 13 shows a town, 15 to 16 streets, and 17 or more individual buildings. Your last location and settings are remembered on this device.
