vCard/Contact QR Generator
Turn your contact details into a QR code people can scan to save you to their phone, for business cards, email signatures, stands and name badges.
About this tool
Fill in whichever details you want to share; only a name or an organisation is required. When someone scans the code, their phone offers to save you as a new contact, with every field in the right place. The website gets https:// added if you leave it off, so it opens as a link.
Every detail makes the code denser, and dense codes need to be printed larger to scan reliably. For a business card, keep to name, mobile, email and website, or choose the MeCard format, which makes a smaller code but drops job title, address and notes. The .vcf download is the same contact as a file, which you can attach to an email or add to your email signature.
The code uses vCard 3.0, which iPhone and Android contacts apps read without an extra app. Your details are remembered on this device so you can come back and tweak them; use Clear details to remove them.
