Favicon Generator
Make a complete set of website icons from a letter, an emoji or your logo: favicon.ico, Apple and Android icons, a web manifest and the HTML to paste in.
PNG or SVG with a transparent background works best.

About this tool
Pick a letter or emoji and colours, or upload your logo, and check the previews: the 16 and 32 pixel icons are what appear in browser tabs and bookmarks, so a single bold letter usually reads better than a full logo at that size. The ZIP has everything a modern site needs:
favicon.icoholds 16, 32 and 48 pixel versions in one file, for browsers, Windows and search results.apple-touch-icon.png(180 pixels) is used when someone adds your site to an iPhone or iPad home screen. It always has a solid background, because iOS shows transparency as black.android-chrome-192x192.pngand512x512are for Android home screens, andsite.webmanifestpoints to them.
Upload the files to the root of your website and paste the HTML into the head of every page. Browsers cache favicons hard, so a new icon can take a while to appear; a private window shows it straight away. Your settings are remembered on this device; uploaded images stay in your browser and aren’t saved.
