About this tool
Single-use codes stop a discount being shared around online, because each one only works once. Set a prefix that tells you which campaign a code belongs to, choose how many random characters follow it, and download the batch as a CSV with a code column, ready to import into Shopify, WooCommerce or your till system. Every code in a batch is different, and any codes you paste into the “already use” box are never repeated.
The easy-to-read set leaves out 0, O, 1 and I, so customers don’t mistype codes from a flyer or receipt. Codes are made with your browser’s secure random generator, and the note under the list shows how likely a random guess is to hit a valid code. Eight characters from the easy-to-read set give over a trillion combinations, so even 10,000 live codes are practically impossible to guess. The prefix doesn’t add any security, because everyone can see it. Your settings are remembered on this device; the codes are not.
