About this tool
The clip is scanned in small blocks, and any run of blocks quieter than your chosen threshold for at least the minimum silence length is treated as a gap between segments — each cut is placed in the middle of that gap so no audio is lost. Lower the threshold (more negative) to require quieter gaps, or shorten the minimum length to catch brief pauses too.
