About this tool
Play your audio, and at the start of each section type a label and press “Mark chapter here” (or Enter). The list is sorted by time and written as “M:SS Label” (or “H:MM:SS Label” past an hour), the format YouTube and most podcast apps recognise. Click a time to jump back to it, or remove a marker you don’t want.
YouTube only shows chapters when the first starts at 0:00, there are at least three, and each lasts at least 10 seconds; the tool checks these rules for you and says what to fix.
