About this tool
Uses JavaScript/JSON-style \uXXXX escapes, with surrogate pairs for characters outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (like most emoji) — exactly how JSON.stringify would encode them. Decoding also understands the ES6 \u{1F600} form and Python-style \U0001F600.
