About this tool
Turn off "Replace all" to only replace the first match. Enable "Treat 'Find' as regex" to use a JavaScript regular expression pattern instead of a literal string — capture groups work with $1, $2, etc. in the replacement.
- What happens with an invalid regex?
- The result box shows an error message instead of output, so you can fix the pattern.
