About this tool
Adds sequential numbers (1., 2., 3. …) in front of each line of a pasted list, ready to paste into a document, email or set of instructions. Choose the starting number and the style: 1. 1) [1] 1: or 1 -, letters (a. or A.), or Roman numerals (i. or I.). Letters carry on past z as aa, ab and so on. Blank lines are skipped and don't consume a number, so gaps in your original list don't throw the count off.
