JSON ↔ YAML Converter

About this tool

Uses js-yaml, the widely used open-source YAML library, so it handles the full YAML 1.2 language: nested lists and objects, multi-line text, anchors and aliases, comments and quoted strings. Text that YAML would otherwise misread — such as "yes", "1.5" or "007" stored as strings — is quoted automatically so it round-trips exactly. A file with several YAML documents (separated by ---) becomes a JSON array of documents. Comments aren't carried over, since JSON has no comments.
