About this tool
An array becomes repeated sibling tags, and the result is always a well-formed XML document: an object with a single top-level key uses it as the root element; anything else is wrapped in <root>. Keys starting with @ become attributes and #text becomes an element's text — the same convention XML → JSON uses, so attributes survive the round trip. Keys that aren't legal XML names (spaces, a leading digit) are adjusted and the tool tells you. Plain numbers and true/false in XML come back as JSON numbers and booleans.
