About this tool
Standard cron has five fields: minute (0–59), hour (0–23), day of month (1–31), month (1–12 or JAN–DEC) and day of week (0–7 or SUN–SAT, where 0 and 7 are both Sunday). Each accepts * for every value, a number, a range (1-5), a list (1,15,30) or a step (*/15, or 9-17/2 for every two hours between 9 and 5). Shortcuts such as @daily and @weekly work too.
One rule catches people out: if you restrict both the day of the month and the day of the week, cron runs when either matches, so 0 0 13 * 5 runs on every 13th and every Friday, not just Friday the 13th. Run times here are shown in your local time; most servers run cron in UTC unless told otherwise, so check the server’s time zone. L, W and # (last day, nearest weekday, nth weekday) are Quartz extensions that standard cron doesn’t support.
