About this tool
Uses blakejs, a well-established pure-JavaScript implementation of the BLAKE2 family (RFC 7693) — not a hand-rolled version of the algorithm. BLAKE2b is optimised for 64-bit platforms and commonly used for file/data integrity checks; BLAKE2s targets 32-bit and embedded platforms. Both are faster than MD5, SHA-1 or SHA-2 while offering at least as much security.
