About this tool

Designers need realistic-looking content to judge spacing, line lengths and how a testimonial section will feel, long before real quotes are approved. These cards give you a mix of lengths, names and star ratings to test your layout with. Choose generic names if you’d rather the mock-up said “Customer name” so nobody mistakes it for finished content.

The HTML and JSON keep the placeholder label ("placeholder": true in JSON) so dummy content is easy to find and remove before launch. Never publish these as real reviews: the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 bans fake reviews, and the CMA can fine businesses that use them. Replace them with genuine quotes, with the customer’s permission, before your site goes live.
