Mail Merge Simulator
Paste or upload a spreadsheet of names and details, write one letter with {{placeholders}}, check each personalised copy, then download them all as a Word document or text.
About this tool
Put each person on a row of the data, with column names in the first row; you can copy cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets (they paste as tab-separated text) or load a CSV file. Then write the letter once, using the column names in double curly brackets. Select a column above the letter to insert it where your cursor is.
{{Today}} fills in today's date, and a fallback after a bar, like {{Name|Customer}}, is used when that row's cell is empty. Any placeholder that doesn't match a column is highlighted in the preview, so typos don't reach your customers. The Word document has one letter per A4 page, ready to print or edit.
This is a quick way to make personalised letters without setting up Word's own mail merge. Your data is remembered on this device only and never uploaded.
