Elapsed Time Between Two Times
Enter a start and end time of day to find out how long passed between them — it automatically assumes an overnight span if the end time is earlier than the start.

About this tool
Useful for shift lengths, cooking or charging times, or anything measured purely by time of day rather than calendar dates — if the end time is before the start time, it's treated as happening the next day, so a night shift from 22:00 to 06:00 comes out as 8 hours.
For timesheets, enter an unpaid break to take it off, and use the decimal figure underneath: 7 hours 45 minutes is 7.75 hours, which is the format most payroll systems and invoices expect. Multiply it by an hourly rate to work out pay.
