About this tool
A standard outdoor track is 400 m in lane 1, measured 30 cm out from the kerb. Each lane further out adds about 7.67 m a lap (2π × 1.22 m), which is why races in lanes have staggered starts, and why a session run in lane 2 or 3 is a little longer than the watch says. Choose the lane you run in to allow for it.
Enter a lap time to see your pace per km and per mile and what that pace would give over standard distances, or enter a target race time to get the lap and 200 m splits to hit. Times can be typed as 1:30 or 88.5.
