About this tool

Paste one or more CREATE TABLE statements and the linter picks out every table and column name, ignoring data types, constraints and comments. Names can be quoted in any style (`x`, "x" or [x]) and tables can have a schema prefix, such as dbo.Orders. With no CREATE TABLE in the box, each line is treated as one name, which is handy for checking a column list copied from a spreadsheet.

Each name that doesn't follow the chosen convention gets a suggested fix (OrderDate becomes order_date in snake_case), and names that are SQL reserved words, such as user, order or group, are flagged too, because they have to be quoted every time they're used.
