Email Header Analyzer
Paste raw email headers to see the delivery hops, SPF/DKIM/DMARC results and basic message fields.
About this tool
Paste the full raw headers from your mail client's "View Source", "Show Original" or "View Message Headers" option. Every Received: header is one "hop" the message passed through on its way to your inbox — the newest hop is always listed first in the raw headers (each server prepends its own line at the top), and this tool preserves that order while numbering them for clarity.
The authentication summary scans the Authentication-Results: header for spf=, dkim= and dmarc= results and shows each as a pass/fail/neutral badge — this reflects whatever your receiving mail server already decided, it does not re-verify anything itself.
Parsing real-world headers perfectly is genuinely hard — mail servers fold long header lines across multiple physical lines in slightly different ways, and Received: header syntax isn't strictly standardised in practice. This tool uses solid best-effort pattern matching that covers the common formats from Gmail, Outlook and standard MTAs, including unfolding continuation lines, but it won't catch every unusual or malformed header out there.
