Handy for resignation notice, rental notice and lease break clauses. Months are counted with the “corresponding date” rule: one month’s notice given on 15 March ends on 15 April, and when there’s no matching day (one month from 31 January) the last day of the shorter month is used.
Always check the wording of your contract or tenancy agreement. Some require notice to end on the last day of a rental period or a calendar month, and some count “clear days”, leaving out both the day notice is given and the final day. If in doubt, give notice a day or two early.
